Pilsner Fest attracts 14,000 visitors for Pilsner Urquell anniversary

The Pilsner Fest festival, held at the Plzeňský Prazdroje brewery grounds, attracted 14,000 visitors to celebrate the 184th anniversary of the first batch of Pilsner Urquell. The six-day event took place from October 5 to October 10.

Activities included live music from various bands, brewery tours, gastronomy, pub quizzes, and stand-up shows. The celebrations featured a symbolic toast at 18:42, marking the time Josef Groll brewed the first batch in 1842. The festival utilized multiple locations within the brewery complex, including a large tent in the courtyard and the Na Spilce pub.
