Pim pan Migas wins Puertollano provincial migas competition

The eighth edition of the provincial migas competition, ‘Cuchará y paso atrás’, was held at the Puertollano bullring. Organized by the Fuente Agria choir and dance association, the event featured 18 participating collectives.

Pim pan Migas secured first place, receiving a trophy and 135 euros. The second prize went to Centro Estético Elisabet (80 euros), followed by Asociación Meraki in third (45 euros), Asociación Portus Planus in fourth (35 euros), and La Yegua Negra in fifth (30 euros).

Puertollano Mayor Miguel Ángel Ruiz attended the awards ceremony alongside local councilors. He emphasized the importance of preserving Manchegan gastronomic traditions and the role of such events in fostering social cohesion following the September patron saint festivals.
