Pineapple Financial expands Injective blockchain integration
Pineapple Financial is expanding its integration with the Injective blockchain through mortgage-related initiatives and the launch of Pentiv, a mortgage intelligence platform for brokerages. The company is migrating mortgage records onto the blockchain to increase data transparency and availability. As of September 4, the project had placed records representing more than $1 billion in mortgage loans on-chain, with a long-term target of moving records for over 29,000 mortgages valued at more than $10 billion onto the network.
In addition to the record migration, Pineapple Financial has implemented a digital asset treasury strategy. The company raised approximately $100 million in a private placement intended to hold the Injective native token (INJ) as its principal holding.
The Pentiv platform, which includes tools such as a Recruitment Agent and an Alternative Mortgage Renewal Agent, is designed to integrate with existing brokerage systems. Pineapple Financial is also undergoing a legal name change to Pentiv Inc., pending shareholder approval, which is expected to change its NYSE American ticker from PAPL to PTIV.
