Pinerolo to host second Giornata Cinofila dog event

The second edition of the Giornata Cinofila, a collateral event of the Fiera di San Donato, is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, in Piazza D’Armi, Pinerolo. Organized by the Pro Loco di Pinerolo, the event aims to promote healthy coexistence with dogs through education and relationship building.

The program includes demonstrations by canine units featuring drug detection, search and rescue, obedience, and agility. Following official greetings, a food break will be provided by Pro Loco Food. The afternoon activities include a dog parade where participants will be evaluated by a jury of children, local administration representatives, and official sponsor Morando. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony and the election of the 2026 Fiera di San Donato mascot.
