Pineto Calcio signs young forward Simone Ardizzone on loan from US Catanzaro

Pineto Calcio announced the temporary acquisition of 16‑year‑old forward Simone Ardizzone from US Catanzaro. The striker, a product of Catanzaro’s youth system, scored seven goals in 16 appearances for the Primavera side last season. It will be Ardizzone’s first experience in senior football after previously training with Sassuolo’s youth squads. Both clubs expressed optimism, with Pineto hoping the loan will aid the player's development and strengthen their Serie C B squad, while Catanzaro wishes him a successful season abroad.

The agreement is a standard loan for the 2023‑24 campaign, and Ardizzone stated he is eager to begin his professional career and contribute to his new team.
