Pineto honors Naples sisters for 60-year connection to city

The municipality of Pineto has honored two sisters from Naples, Laura and Mariangela Passante, for their nearly 60-year connection to the city. The sisters first visited Pineto as children in 1968 and have continued to return for decades, establishing the town as a second home for their families.

Mayor Alberto Dell’Orletta and Vice Mayor Massimina Erasmi presented the sisters with parchments at the Town Hall to recognize their long-standing affection for the community. The sisters' history reflects the evolution of the Adriatic seaside resort, spanning various local hotels and landmarks over the decades. Additionally, Laura Passante has contributed to the town's heritage through her academic work, having dedicated her architectural restoration thesis to Villa Filiani, a local landmark.
