Pingtung County Mayor's Cup Volleyball Championship begins

The 115th Pingtung County Mayor's Cup Volleyball Championship commenced on September 12 at the Neipu Junior High School volleyball courts. The three-day tournament features 82 teams and 887 athletes competing across various categories, including elementary, junior high, high school, and social groups.

The Pingtung County Government Sports Development Center highlighted the region's growing success in grassroots volleyball. Notable achievements include Neipu Elementary School's multiple championship titles and recent successes by Xinyuan Junior High School in the Junior High Volleyball League (JHVL). The county government aims to continue integrating government, corporate, and private resources to support training environments, professional coaching, and athlete care to build a comprehensive talent cultivation system.
