Pinheiros aims for 11th straight Troféu Brasil athletics crown in São Paulo
From July 23 to 26, Esporte Clube Pinheiros will compete at the Ícaro de Castro Melo stadium in Ibirapuera, São Paulo, for the Troféu Brasil de Atletismo, seeking an 11th consecutive team title. The club’s delegation comprises 66 athletes and 12 technical staff (78 people total) and the event is free to the public.
Hurdler Alison dos Santos, a two‑time Olympic bronze medallist and world champion who holds the Brazilian record of 46.29 seconds in the 400 m hurdles, is chasing his first individual Troféu title. Long‑jump specialist Eliane Martins, competing in what she says will be her final Troféu, hopes to add an 11th gold medal to her decorated career.
