Pinheiros Club Youth Shine at SESC Diadema Badminton Festival

On June 27, the SESC Diadema Badminton Festival in the Greater São Paulo area brought together 53 young players aged 10 to 16. Four athletes from the Pinheiros sports club—Mário Paes, João Ronzella, Matheus Concilio and Mateus Diniz—advanced to the final "Gold Group" and reached the podium. In the 16‑year category, Paes and Ronzella each placed third, while in the 12‑year division Concilio also took third and Diniz won the championship.

Coach Pedro Pahor said the event is valuable for the youngsters’ overall development, noting, "These events are very important in the formation of these youths, both sportingly and socially. They get the chance to meet new people, make friends, experience different conditions and see their level of play against children they have never faced before. At this stage of their development, that is richer than the results, which were also very good."
