Pinheiros faces Corinthians in Paulista basketball quarterfinals

Esporte Clube Pinheiros will face Corinthians in the quarterfinals of the Campeonato Paulista de Basquete. The series is a best-of-three format, with the first game scheduled for Thursday at the Professor Hugo Ramos gymnasium in Mogi das Cruzes.

Pinheiros, the current Brazilian vice-champion, finished the first phase in sixth place and will face third-placed Corinthians. Due to their ranking, Corinthians holds the advantage of hosting a potential third game. Bruno Porto, serving as head coach in the absence of Gustavinho De Conti, expressed confidence in the team's tactical preparation, noting the importance of controlling the game against a known playoff opponent.
