Pininfarina reveals design for JAS Tensei supercar

Pininfarina and JAS Motorsport have revealed the definitive design and interior of the JAS Tensei, a high-performance road car based on the first-generation Honda NSX. The project, which translates to “rebirth” in Japanese, features a completely new body constructed entirely from carbon fiber.

While inspired by the 1990 Honda NSX, the Tensei is a radical reinterpretation rather than a simple restomod. Technical modifications include an extended wheelbase, reduced rear overhang, wider track, and larger wheels. The interior, developed by Pininfarina, focuses on a driver-centric cockpit with essential lines and high-quality technical materials, offering hundreds of customizable combinations.

The vehicle's world debut is scheduled for the Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l’Auto de Paris) from October 12 to 18. The first unit, specimen 001, will be exhibited in the Ultimate Supercar Garage.
