Pink October charity walks held in Vimoutiers and Mortagne-au-Perche

Charity walks organized for Pink October took place in the Orne department of France to support the Ligue contre le cancer.

In Vimoutiers, thirty-five participants joined a solidarity walk on October 10, 2026. The event raised 400 € for the cancer league and featured a 23-meter pink ribbon symbol. Local officials indicated that the municipality is planning future activities for Movember to raise awareness for men's cancers.

In Mortagne-au-Perche, a 5 km walk was organized by Viviane Heliot of Sport Vitalité Mouv’en Perche in partnership with the Ligue contre le cancer. The event, held at the local hippodrome, aimed to encourage early screening and provide community support for those undergoing chemotherapy. All donations from the event were designated for the Ligue contre le cancer de l’Orne.
