Pink October solidarity events held in Chancelade and Prunelli

Communities in Chancelade and Prunelli organized local events to support Pink October, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and prevention.

In Chancelade, approximately 100 participants took part in solidarity walks organized by the association Les Ardents du pied. Participants chose between 5 km and 8 km routes through local neighborhoods including Les Andrivaux, Lespinasse, and Petite Fontaine. The event concluded with musical entertainment and a shared meal, with all collected funds donated to the fight against breast cancer.

In Prunelli, a weekend of activities focused on prevention and well-being was held. The program included a comedy night featuring La Meute Comedy Club and a Sunday dedicated to health workshops such as yoga, Pilates, nutrition advice, and consultations with midwives. These efforts raised 2,071 euros for breast cancer support.
