Pinnacle Investment Management announces trading pause for three Metrics funds

Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited (ASX: PNI) has announced a temporary trading pause for three funds managed by its affiliate, Metrics Credit Partners Pty Limited. The affected funds are the Metrics Master Income Trust (ASX: MXT), Metrics Income Opportunities Trust (ASX: MOT), and Metrics Real Estate Multi-Strategy Fund (ASX: MRE).

The pause was communicated on 28 September 2026, pending a forthcoming announcement. While the specific reason for the halt has not been disclosed, the development is significant for Pinnacle, as it holds a 35% equity interest in Metrics Credit Holdings Pty Limited. For the financial year ending 30 June 2026, Metrics contributed approximately $12.6 million to Pinnacle’s total net profit after tax (NPAT) of $176.7 million.
