Pinolere hosts 41st Canary Islands craftsmanship fair
The Pinolere neighborhood in La Orotava has become the center of Canary Islands craftsmanship for its 41st annual regional fair. This year's edition focuses specifically on wood, highlighting its historical importance in construction, household items, and agricultural tools.
The event was inaugurated by regional and local leaders, including the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, and the President of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila. The fair features approximately 200 artisans from across the archipelago, alongside gastronomic spaces offering local products.
In addition to the exhibition, the event includes workshops, thematic expositions, and musical performances. Awards were presented during the opening, including the 'Cho Feriante de Honor 2026' to Manuel Hernández Domínguez, the Liceo de Taoro, and Transportes Paluper, as well as the 'XXIII Premio Artesanía y Patrimonio Villa de La Orotava' to the Asociación San José.
