Pinturas Blatem founder's rise from apprentice to manufacturer
Nuria Luna shares the history of her father, the founder of the paint company Pinturas Blatem. The company's origins are rooted in internal migration within Spain, as her family moved from regions like Córdoba and Madridejos to Valencia to seek better economic opportunities.
Her father began his career as a painting apprentice in Torrent at the age of 10. By 17, he was managing 30 employees. He eventually transitioned from a service provider to a manufacturer by purchasing a small factory in Valencia, where he developed specialized paints designed for better application and coverage for professional painters. The founder passed away in 2021.
