Pio Esposito renews contract with Inter Milan until 2032

Inter Milan striker Pio Esposito has signed a contract extension that secures his future with the club until June 30, 2032. The 2005-born player has committed to the club that developed him, despite significant interest from other major Italian teams.

According to Esposito’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis made a concerted effort to sign the player while he was still at Spezia. Giuffredi revealed in a radio interview that De Laurentiis was the first president in Italy to pursue the striker, attempting to integrate him into Napoli’s technical project. However, the player rejected the move, stating that Inter is his ‘home’ and ‘second family,’ making the transfer impossible.
