PIO Fund suspends family pensions for 365 students
In September, 365 users of the PIO Fund were left without family pensions. The affected individuals are high school students who failed to submit required certificates of regular enrollment by the September 24 deadline.
The PIO Fund reported that 1,094 high school students were required to submit enrollment certificates for the 2026/2027 period. As of September 29, only 729 students had provided the necessary documentation.
The Fund stated that failure to provide these certificates within the specified timeframe implies the student is no longer in regular schooling, resulting in the suspension of family pension payments. The Fund also noted its right to verify the accuracy of all submitted documents with the issuing schools or faculties.
