Piombino logistics operation completes 36-meter yacht transfer

A complex logistical operation was successfully completed in Piombino to transfer a 36-meter yacht to the sea. Due to ongoing construction work that rendered standard road access inaccessible, the vessel had to be lifted over an overpass to reach the opposite side of the road for its journey to the water.

The yacht was manufactured by Velmare, a local company specializing in large composite nautical structures. The maneuver was executed by Piccini Trasporti Industriali and involved coordination between several entities, including Sales S.p.A., ANAS S.p.A., the Municipality of Piombino, the Province of Livorno, Terna S.p.A., Enel S.p.A., and Confindustria Toscana Centro e Costa.
