Pioneer launches Heritage Collection retro car audio

Pioneer has announced its new Heritage Collection, a line of aftermarket car electronics designed to evoke the aesthetic of the 1980s and 1990s. The collection includes the SXT-C10PS head unit, which features a single-DIN faceplate inspired by the classic KEH-series, and the TS-X40SXT box speakers, which draw design cues from the iconic 1984 TS-X60 Japanese-style surface-mount speakers.

While the hardware maintains a period-correct appearance, the components integrate modern technology such as Bluetooth, HD Radio, SiriusXM readiness, and custom EQ. The speakers utilize deep-profile cellulose fibre cone woofers and a double-slit bass-reflex enclosure to provide bass, alongside cellulose fibre cone tweeters for mid-to-high range clarity.

The SXT-C10PS head unit is priced at US$499, and the TS-X40SXT speakers are US$299. Both items are currently available for pre-order and are expected to be released through authorized retailers and dealers in November 2026. The collection will make its U.S. debut at the RADwood NorCal event in Alameda, California, on October 24, 2026.
