Pioneers of Pagonia receives Echoes of Aldramar expansion

Envision Entertainment has released Echoes of Aldramar, the largest expansion to date for the city-building simulation Pioneers of Pagonia. Available on Steam and GoG, the DLC introduces a new story campaign set on the island world of Aldramar.

The expansion features four new story maps providing over 15 hours of gameplay. Players must navigate challenging desert environments characterized by dunes, quicksand, and scarce water and fertile soil. A central mechanic involves using a new resource, marble, to restore monumental ruins of a lost civilization.

Gameplay elements include activating mysterious obelisks with magical keystones to transform desert terrain back into fertile land. Players must also contend with colossal stone warriors that patrol the ancient structures, which can be fought or outmaneuvered. The DLC also introduces an ‘Out-of-Territory Construction’ feature, allowing expedition workers to build or restore specific landmarks.
