Piotrków Trybunalski: 11-year-old cyclist struck by car

An 11-year-old boy was struck by a car while riding a bicycle on Łódzka Street in Piotrków Trybunalski on Monday, August 10. The collision occurred near the intersection of the St. Faustina and Solidarity roundabouts.

According to police, a 70-year-old driver in a Nissan collided with the child as he entered a pedestrian crossing. Authorities noted that the boy was not wearing a helmet, did not possess a bicycle card, and the bicycle lacked the required lighting. Emergency medical services attended to the child at the scene.
