Pipi Estrada confirms skin carcinoma diagnosis
Spanish television personality Pipi Estrada has confirmed a diagnosis of carcinoma following a biopsy of a persistent wound on his face. The lesion, which Estrada described as appearing like a crater, had been present for over a year on the right side of his face.
Despite the diagnosis, Estrada expressed a sense of calm and serenity. He noted that medical professionals did not express extreme alarm, characterizing the carcinoma as a less severe form of melanoma. He stated, “The carcinoma is the little son of melanoma,” and indicated that he intends to follow strict medical advice regarding sun protection, specifically using SPF 50+ due to his fair skin and light eyes.
The next step in his treatment plan is a surgical procedure to remove the tumor, which is expected to last approximately one hour.
