Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo to launch on Switch 2

PM Studios and developer Pocket Trap have announced that the action-adventure game ‘Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo’ will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 20, 2026.

The Switch 2 version will serve as a free upgrade for existing Nintendo Switch owners. This version is designed to leverage new hardware to provide enhanced performance, including 120 FPS in handheld mode at 1080p resolution and 4K resolution when docked. The update will also include HDR support for improved color and contrast.

In the game, players control Pippit, a bat using a yo-yo to navigate urban landscapes and combat criminal bosses. The title features over 40 equippable badges and 20 passive power-ups.
