Piraeus Bank rewards IRIS Payments; CrediaBank joins EIB defense finance program

Piraeus Bank became the first Greek bank to offer a rewards program for every transaction made with IRIS Payments at physical points of sale. From 22 July, customers who scan the IRIS QR via the Piraeus app will earn ten “Yellow” points per purchase, adding an incentive to the bank’s instant‑payment service.

CrediaBank signed an agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to join the EIB’s Security and Defence investment programme, making it the first non‑systemic bank in Europe and the second in Greece to participate. The partnership aims to improve financing access for small and medium‑sized enterprises operating in the security and defence sectors, supporting long‑term investment, innovation and the broader competitiveness of the Greek economy.
