Piraeus Bank launches voluntary redundancy program
Piraeus Bank has announced a new voluntary redundancy program aimed at renewing its workforce and adapting to evolving banking sector conditions. The program is primarily directed at employees aged 55 and older who have completed a minimum of six years of service.
Participants can choose between immediate departure or a long-term leave option lasting up to seven years. Compensation for immediate departure is capped at €200,000, while the long-term leave option can reach up to €220,000. Final amounts vary based on age groups, planned salary increases for children, and the timing of the application.
Additional benefits include continued medical and hospital coverage for up to seven years, alongside professional transition programs and advisory services. Certain roles, including those in customer-centric units such as PFM, CIB, Wealth & Asset Management, and the branch network, are excluded from the program. Participation is entirely voluntary.
