Piraeus Bank partners with Apollo to distribute investment products in Greece
Piraeus Bank has entered into a partnership with Apollo Management International LLP to distribute European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIF) in Greece. This makes Piraeus the first Greek bank, and one of the first in Europe, to establish such an agreement.
The collaboration provides individual investors in Greece with access to investment categories previously reserved primarily for institutional investors. Specifically, clients will be able to invest in the Apollo Global Private Markets ELTIF, focusing on private equity of non-listed companies; the Apollo European Private Credit ELTIF, which targets secured loans to large and medium-sized European enterprises; and the Apollo Global Diversified Credit ELTIF, which utilizes a diversified strategy in international credit markets.
Apollo, founded in 1990, manages over $1 trillion in assets for major global institutional investors and specializes in alternative investments.
