Piraeus Port Film Festival showcases Greek-Polish cinema

The third Piraeus Port Film Festival will take place from 11 to 13 September 2026 at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, Greece. The event’s theme, “From the Baltic to the Mediterranean”, creates a cultural bridge between Polish and Greek contemporary cinema, exploring memory, identity, the body, space and matter.

In addition to screenings of recent Greek films, the festival features a competition for Greek short films, monetary prizes, and a jury composed of Gabriel Tzafkas, Katia Goulioni, Akis Kapranos and Panagiotis Gourtzoulidis. The programme includes visual art interventions and artistic collaborations, positioning the festival as a broader cultural experience that highlights Piraeus as a modern creative hub.
