Piraquara car crash leaves passenger gravely injured after driver flees

A Chevrolet Corsa crashed on the PR-415 access road in Piraquara, Paraná, when the driver lost control while attempting a high‑speed turn and fell off an embankment. The passenger, a man in his mid‑30s, was found unconscious with multiple facial fractures and other injuries. He was rescued by the Corpo de Bombeiros and taken to Hospital Cajuru in serious condition.

The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, showing signs of intoxication according to witnesses. Police have not yet located the driver, and the investigation continues.
