Piratas FC defeats Correcaminos 4-1 in Liga de Expansión MX

Piratas FC defeated Correcaminos 4-1 at the Estadio Pirata Fuente during the seventh round of the Liga de Expansión MX Apertura 2026 tournament. The goals for the Veracruz-based team were scored by Francisco Manuel García, José Clemente Hernández, Fofana, and Omar Soto.

The match included a tribute to the late footballer Gael Uscanga Carranza. Despite being reduced to ten players following the expulsion of Kenneth Jaime, Piratas FC maintained their lead after Correcaminos briefly equalized in the 58th minute through Joaquín Estopier.

Following this loss, Correcaminos dropped to seventh place in the general standings with 11 points, having a record of three wins, two draws, and two losses. The defeat also ended Correcaminos' undefeated streak as visitors.
