Pirelli winter tyre range achieves top results in European tests

Pirelli has reported significant success for its renewed winter tyre range in independent European comparative tests. The lineup, which has undergone extensive updates over the last two years, includes the Scorpion Winter 3 for SUVs, the P Zero Winter 2 for high-performance vehicles, and the Cinturato Winter 3 for saloons and crossovers.

The Cinturato Winter 3 has secured multiple top positions, including a first-place finish in an ADAC test involving 16 models, where it received a “highly recommended” rating for its wet performance and driving safety. It also won a test conducted by AvD and achieved top rankings in comparisons involving Volkswagen Golf models, specifically noted for superior aquaplaning resistance and braking distances.

Additionally, the range features Pirelli Elect technology, specifically designed to meet the requirements of the growing electric vehicle segment. The company also highlighted the performance of its Cinturato All Season SF3, which has recorded multiple victories and podium finishes in recent European comparisons.
