Pirenópolis hosts 25th edition of Canto da Primavera music festival

The 25th edition of the Canto da Primavera – Mostra Nacional de Música de Pirenópolis has commenced in Pirenópolis, Goiás. Recognized as the largest music festival in the state, the event offers a completely free program featuring 50 musical attractions, including local, regional, and national artists.

The festival features a diverse range of genres, including MPB, samba, rock, sertanejo, hip hop, and instrumental music. Notable performers include Rachel Reis, IZA, and Gilsons. Performances are distributed across four main stages: Palco Coreto, Palco Matriz, Palco Teatro, and Palco Aeroporto.

Organized by the State of Goiás through the Secretary of State for Culture (Secult Goiás) in collaboration with the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) and the RTVE Foundation, the event also includes educational components such as workshops in municipal schools and the ‘Canto da Estação’ workshop for young adults. Additionally, the festival features the ‘Canto Gastronômico’ to highlight regional cuisine.
