Pirenópolis Literary Festival launches educational outreach program

The 16th Pirenópolis Literary Festival (Flipiri) is conducting an educational outreach program from August 26 to 28. Under the theme “Raízes e Memórias – Vem 300!”, the initiative coincides with the city's 299th anniversary.

As part of the program, 31 writers from the Instituto Cultural Casa de Autores (ICA) will visit public schools in urban, village, and rural areas. The initiative aims to reach approximately 5,000 students from early childhood to high school, as well as 360 teachers. About 2,000 new books will be distributed to replenish school libraries and provide students with direct access to authors through workshops and face-to-face encounters.
