Pirenópolis to host 25th Canto da Primavera music festival

The 25th edition of Canto da Primavera – Mostra Nacional de Música de Pirenópolis will take place from September 8 to 13 in Pirenópolis, Goiás. Promoted by the Goiás State Government through the Secretary of State for Culture (Secult), the festival will feature 50 shows and presentations.

The lineup includes national artists such as Rachel Reis (September 11), Iza (September 12), and Gilsons (September 13). The official opening will consist of a special concert by the Goiás Philharmonic Orchestra featuring musician Almir Pessoa.

Regional participation has been expanded through a public call, selecting 44 proposals from artists in Goiás. This includes nine groups from Pirenópolis and 35 from other municipalities within the state. Performances will be held across various locations, including the local Theater, Praça da Matriz, Coreto, and the Airport. The event also includes educational activities, such as the 2nd edition of the Canto da Estação Workshop.
