Pirineu365 mountain resorts report record summer visitors

The Pirineu365 mountain stations, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), have recorded a record-breaking 221,739 visitors during the 2026 summer season. The campaign spanned 194 days of operation across La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter, and Boí Taüll.

To diversify revenue beyond the traditional ski season, the resorts offered 74 different activities, including hiking, mountain biking, water sports, and astronomical observation. Panoramic rides were the most popular attraction, with 159,903 users utilizing lifts and the rack railway to access high-altitude viewpoints. Other notable activities included the Bike Park, which saw 9,245 users, and various water-based and adventure experiences.
