Pirineu365 stations collect over one ton of waste

The Pirineu365 mountain stations have collected more than one ton of waste during cleaning campaigns held between June and October. Managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), the initiative involved workers, students, social entities, and hiking groups.

Cleaning activities took place across six stations: La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter, Espot, Port Ainé, and Boí Taüll. These efforts focus on removing accumulated waste from trails, meadows, and high-mountain areas, particularly during months without snow when terrain is more accessible. The campaigns also aim to raise awareness among visitors regarding environmental conservation.
