Pisa dedicates Sala Rossa to former official Gianna Gambaccini

On October 3, a ceremony was held at Palazzo Gambacorti to dedicate the Sala Rossa of the Municipality of Pisa to Gianna Gambaccini. Gambaccini was a former assessor for social, housing, and health policies for Pisa and the president of the Società della Salute della Zona Pisana, who passed away in 2021.

The event was attended by Pisa Mayor Michele Conti, Assessor Amanuel Sikera, and Gambaccini’s family members, Biagio Solito and Camilla Solito. Other attendees included local administration representatives, medical colleagues, volunteer associations, and political figures such as MEP Susanna Ceccardi and Senator Manfredi Potenti.

Mayor Michele Conti praised Gambaccini for her ability to combine professional competence with enthusiasm and a deep attention to those in need. He noted her dedication to visiting working-class neighborhoods to find practical solutions for citizens facing housing and social difficulties.
