Lazio signs striker Andrea Pinamonti from Sassuolo

SS Lazio has officially completed the permanent signing of striker Andrea Pinamonti from US Sassuolo Calcio. The transfer is valued at a total package of approximately €12 million, including various performance-based bonuses.

Pinamonti, 27, has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2031. He has been assigned the number 9 shirt and is expected to provide immediate offensive reinforcement for manager Gennaro Gattuso. The striker, who previously played for Inter, Genoa, and Empoli, is expected to be available for selection as early as August 30 against Genoa.

In his first official statements, Pinamonti expressed his deep desire to join the club, noting that the move was a significant personal and family decision. He also paid tribute to former Lazio legend Ciro Immobile, stating that Immobile’s career is “admirable” and that it would be a dream to achieve even half of his accomplishments.
