Pisa and Erula prepare for upcoming racing events

The third edition of ‘Rally-Amo’ will take place in Pisa on Sunday, October 4. Organized by Squadra Corse Città di Pisa ASD in collaboration with Eppur si muove ASD APS, the event features a static exhibition of historic and modern racing cars on the Ponte di Mezzo and limited-speed driving demonstrations along Lungarno Galilei for charitable purposes.

Significant traffic modifications will be in effect in Pisa. From 10:00 to 21:00, parking is prohibited on Lungarno Galilei and Lungarno Gambacorti. Between 12:00 and 21:00, the Ponte di Mezzo and Lungarno Galilei will be closed to transit, though access remains for residents and authorized personnel. Temporary changes to traffic flow and pedestrian areas will also be implemented to facilitate the event.

In a separate racing event, the Rally Italia Sardegna 2026 will feature the Tula–Erula special stage on Friday, October 2. The municipality of Erula is providing free shuttle bus services for spectators between Piazza Giovanni XXIII and the Sa Mela district. Local officials noted the economic importance of the rally, while expressing concern that this may be the final edition of the World Rally event held in Sardinia.
