Pisa opens applications for elderly and medication bonuses

The Municipality of Pisa has opened applications for two new social welfare measures: the elderly bonus and a medication subsidy for residents. A total of 355,000 euros has been allocated for these initiatives.

The elderly bonus, totaling 340,000 euros, is available to residents aged 65 and older who have severe disabilities or 100% recognized invalidity, provided their ISEE is 25,000 euros or less. Eligible recipients can receive up to 2,400 euros in electronic credit, usable at participating businesses until December 31, 2027.

The medication bonus, with a budget of 15,000 euros, targets residents over 70 with an ISEE of 5,000 euros or less. This measure provides a 100-euro contribution for non-reimbursable Class C medications, which can be used at participating pharmacies through late 2027. Applications must be submitted online by November 3.
