Pisa pushes ahead with Tommaso Marras transfer talks

Serie B club Pisa and Mantova are still negotiating the transfer of 22‑year‑old winger Tommaso Marras. The striker scored seven goals in 30 appearances last season and is valued at around €4 million, but recent reports suggest a final fee just above €3 million may be reached. Mantova rejected the idea of using Hojholt as a technical swap, insisting on a cash‑only deal.

While the Marras deal remains unsettled, Pisa is also active in other market areas, scouting players such as Matteo Cocchi, Giuseppe Leone and goalkeeper Alessandro Confente. Separately, Sampdoria is reportedly monitoring Catanzaro striker Filippo Pittarello, who netted 12 goals and provided seven assists last season, to bolster its attack under new coach Bernardo Corradi.
