Pisa student selected for Venice Film Festival youth jury

Andrea Campanelli, a student from the Galilei-Pacinotti Institute in Pisa, has been selected to join the youth jury for the ‘Leoncino d’Oro’ at the Venice International Film Festival in September 2026.

Campanelli earned this position by producing the best regional critical essay for the ‘David Giovani’ project. This initiative, supported by the Arsenale, involves high school students watching selected Italian films and providing written critical assessments. Campanelli’s winning review focused on the film ‘Le città di pianura’, directed by Francesco Sossai.
