Pisa municipal registry services to implement new appointment rules

Starting October 1, 2026, the Municipality of Pisa will implement new procedures for several registry office services to reduce wait times and queues.

Residency applications at the central Sesta Porta office (via Battisti, 53) will now require a prior appointment. Residents can book these slots online via the municipal website, through email, or via PEC.

Additionally, the appointment system for issuing Electronic Identity Cards (CIE) is being expanded. While previously limited, booking will now be available across all municipal registry locations, including the decentralized offices of Riglione and Don Bosco, as well as Marina di Pisa. While appointments are encouraged to streamline the process, some locations will still allow walk-in service subject to capacity and local limits.
