Pisa: Via Luigi Bianchi to close for sewage network works
Via Luigi Bianchi in Pisa will be closed to traffic from September 7 to September 28 to facilitate sewage network improvements. The project, managed by Acque, involves constructing 30 to 40 meters of new sewage pipeline to connect remaining local users to the network.
During this period, parking is prohibited on both sides of the affected stretch between via Contessa Matilde and via dell’Ozeretto. While transit is restricted, residents and commercial delivery vehicles will be permitted to pass through the section between via Santo Stefano and via dell’Ozeretto. Special provisions have been made for the Pisa Sporting Club home match on September 11, allowing one lane of traffic to remain open for travel from via Contessa Matilde toward viale Giovanni Pisano.
Alternative routes have been established for commuters coming from via del Brennero, via Contessa Matilde, and largo del Parlascio to bypass the construction zone.
