Pisarzowa celebrates local Lach heritage through traditional performance

The “Pogodejmy po lachowsku” project concluded on August 9 with a final event at the library in Pisarzowa. The program featured a traditional matchmaking performance titled “Swaty” by the Pisarzowa Country Housewives' Club (KGW), the oldest club in the Limanowa commune.

The performance utilized the Lach dialect to preserve local linguistic heritage and featured a set designed to resemble a traditional rural cottage. Musical accompaniment was provided by the band “Z Końca Wsi.” The project was supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage through the “Polszczyzna. Bogactwo różnorodności” program.
