Pisco announces programming for 59th Tourism Week 2026

The provincial municipality of Pisco has officially announced the programming for the 59th Tourism Week, scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 8, 2026. Under the theme ‘Proud to be Pisqueños,’ the event aims to highlight the province's history, traditions, and identity, specifically commemorating the landing of General José de San Martín in Paracas Bay.

The festivities will include a wide range of cultural, gastronomic, and artistic activities. Key highlights include the Miss Pisco 2026 pageant, featuring ten candidates, and the ‘Sabor a Pisco’ gastronomic fair. Musical performances are scheduled at the Parque Zonal de Pisco, featuring artists such as Yahaira Plasencia, Los Méndez, Corazón Serrano, and Armonía 10.

Provincial Mayor Pedro Fuentes Hernández led the presentation, which also included the unveiling of the official logo. The design incorporates local symbols such as the old Municipal Palace and the Peruvian flag to represent the region's cultural heritage.
