Pistoia hosts dialogue on the meaning of hospitality and care

In Pistoia, the association Famiglie per l'Accoglienza Toscana organized a dialogue focused on the concept of hospitality and welcoming others. The event, held as part of the ‘Pistoia capitale del libro 2026’ initiative, featured discussions between different perspectives on care and presence.

Claudia Cavegn, a lay spiritual assistant at the Regina Margherita Children's Hospital in Turin, shared her experiences providing support to patients and families during moments of intense grief and medical urgency. The discussion emphasized the importance of being a presence for others, regardless of their religious background, and finding meaning in tragic circumstances through communal support.
