Pistunina building collapse investigation to resume debris analysis
Technical investigations into the building collapse in Pistunina, which resulted in six deaths on July 30, are set to resume on September 14. Three consultants appointed by the Prosecutor's Office—engineers Rodolfo Urbani, Andrea Prota, and Antimo Fiorillo—will conduct a detailed analysis of the debris to determine the exact causes and contributing factors of the collapse.
This phase of the investigation follows an initial reconnaissance conducted in late August. The analysis aims to compare technical findings from various parties involved. Simultaneously, investigators have made progress in the criminal inquiry by performing forensic data extraction from the mobile phones of three suspects: entrepreneurs Alessandro Panarello and Pasquale D'Ali, and engineer Pietro Leone.
