Pitbull attack in Herrera, Argentina injures young woman protecting family dog
In the city of Herrera, Avellaneda Department, four pitbulls entered a residence on Avenida Tucumán and attacked the family's dog. Karen Milagros Moreno, 24, tried to separate the animals to protect the dog and was bitten, sustaining multiple wounds. Police from the Community Precinct No. 19 and the Citizen Security Division No. 18 responded, collected evidence and opened an investigation. The dogs are believed to belong to a neighbour, whose identity has been added to the case. The injured dog received treatment from its owners, while the Ministry of Public Prosecutor's Office in Añatuya is pursuing further investigative measures and possible preventive actions to avoid similar incidents.
