La Serena, Chile pitbull attack kills dog, injures another

A resident of Altovalsol in La Serena reported that two pitbulls entered her home and attacked several pets. One poodle was killed and another dog was left in critical condition after neighbors attempted to intervene. The dogs also mauled a stray nearby, causing additional injuries. The victim’s family said similar attacks by the same pitbulls have occurred previously, including incidents that killed other pets and even chickens. Local authorities have been urged to take measures to prevent further attacks, emphasizing the potential danger to children and adults as well.
